I recently watched the movie Best Sellers, and was pleasantly surprised.
There are few movies about writing (understandably- it is difficult to portray something that's mostly thinking, or sitting in front of a piece of paper or screen) but this movie was more about the publishing side of the industry. Best Sellers is about an unlikely road trip with an unwilling author and a desperate publisher who comes up with some pretty unique ways to market the book.
To be honest, I almost didn't finish watching it. Although advertised as a comedy, I personally didn't find it very humorous, but it was at least interesting. The second half of the movie is more serious in tone, with a bittersweet ending.
Ultimately I was glad I stuck with it, and it's worth a watch.
