Decisions, Decisions

The good news is that I've decided on the short story that will be released this year, right after Tale of the Witche. I was having trouble deciding on which one to publish, and I initially decided on a different one. But when I went back and actually looked at the original story, I realized it was simply too short, even though I was planning to pair it with another similar themed short story. Even together they were both too short, barely a few pages long. I always seem to remember the length of my finished works wrongly.

The not-so-good news: although I am still working on Tale of the Witche, it is becoming something of a monster, lengthwise. For something I thought could be published last year as a shorter novel it has gradually grown to nearly the length of The Eightfold Lairs of Xillenthia, and I still have the last third to finish. Keeping in mind that it will need another pass or two before it's ready for publication, it looks like it will be a winter release.
