No More ABNA

I was getting ready to submit The Eightfold Lairs of Xillenthia to Amazon's ABNA contest (Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award) only to find it has been discontinued.

I only entered ABNA twice before, both times with Tale of the Moone, although I was never accepted due to technical difficulties. The first time I missed the deadline for resubmitting my files. The second time I tried to enter there was again an error with my files, and although I resubmitted them several times, they were never accepted. ABNA was unique in that the requirements for entry were pretty broad. Any genre was welcome, whether the story was new or old, published or unpublished. In later years there were actually multiple winners for different categories. And best of all, it was free to enter.
