The Eightfold Lairs of Xillenthia Paperback

The Eightfold Lairs of Xillenthia is finally out in paperback! I am so pleased with how it turned out.

First of all the cover is a wrap-around, and is the original dimensions that the artist, my sister, painted it in. The e-book cover was resized and squished so it would fit on the cover, which also worked, making the mountains look higher and more forbidding, but this is how the artwork is supposed to look. And yes, they are mirror images- the e-book version is the original, but I wanted the title to show better against the lighter sky, so I flipped it. I also resized the font so it would show better.

The paperback version also features eight pieces of original artwork, one for each part of the book. And although no new text has been added, I did fix the various typos and ended up having to reword a few passages.

As with Tale of the Moone, the paperback version of The Eightfold Lairs of Xillenthia is the definitive edition of the book, and if you purchase both through Amazon, they are eligible for free shipping (book only orders of at least $25).
